Classes at Love’n The Kitchen are from beginner to advanced levels. Each course offers a theme based cooking experience, taught via live demonstration, with plenty of interaction and time for questions. You will leave with the recipes and inspiration to re-create the dishes for those you love. Please call to register for your favorite classes early, as space is limited. Love’n The Kitchen is a SubZero-Wolf sponsored, home based gourmet cooking school offered with state of the art professional equipment and a talented staff! We are proud to host Food Network Guest Chefs, as well as those from throughout the West Coast.

2017 Spring Cooking Classes


The Perfect Brunch: Salty Sow Style:  Guest Chef Event Thursday, March 9th 10:00am-12:30pm $95
Brunch season is upon us, and if you have ever wondered how to put together a menu like a restaurant, but in the comfort of your own home, then THIS is the class for you! Join Executive Chef BJ Curtis from the Salty Sow, as he teaches us how to pull this off, starting with a cocktail. Garnished Ice Cubes inside of their signature Curly Tail Margarita will wet our appetite as we make homemade Buttermilk Biscuits with Jam - and experience all the ways to utilize the components for other dishes too. Smoked Pastrami Salmon Farm Salad with White Balsamic Dressing accompanies Candied Pork Belly Hash, with Green Chili Pork and Poached Eggs. Chef/Owner Harold's Fudge Brownies with Caramel will be a crowd pleaser any time of the day!!

Who Needs a Reservation? Wednesday, April 5th 11:00am-1:30 pm $80
It's time for Love'n the Kitchen's annual restaurant recipe class, showcasing the most requested recipes of the year. We visit 4 restaurants and create their signature dishes: Zinc Bistro's French Onion Soup then Beckett's Table Painted Cauliflower. Those two dishes are Classics, so how about a new restaurant that is one of Scottsdale's toughest reservations: The Fat Ox's Rigatoni Lamb Verde is crave-able, even if you are not a lamb lover. Next, we are back to the classics for Mastro's Butter Cake, need we say more? From here on out, the waitlist for reservations is a thing of the past!

The calendar says Cinco de Mayo, but how about firing up the Barbecue instead! We are honored to welcome back the Phoenician's king of the Smoker/BBQ: Dale Flores!! Chef Dale is making 3 different rubs and 2 sauces for Chicken; Ribs and Brisket. Two sides and a Berry Cobbler in a Dutch Oven that is cooked al fresco on the grill round out this outdoor feast. Grab a friend and fill a cooler with your favorite brew or vino, and join us for the last Friday night class of the season. You will be ready for action this Summer!

Jan D'Atri and Momma Friday, May 12th 11:00am-1:30 pm $95
What a thrill to have the dynamic Mother-Daughter Duo: Superstar Chef Jan D'Atri and her Momma to kick off Mother's Day Weekend! Momma is making her Mini Meatball appetizer, then their Famous Restaurant "House" Dressing (that doubles as a chicken and veggie marinade) on Party Steak Salad. We journey back to the Lake Tahoe Days and make Classic Italian Mushroom Risotto - yum! Jan & Momma finish with an incredible Rum Cake that is going to be your new favorite recipe, maybe to share with the special ladies in your life.

 

POLICIES:

1. CANCELLATION POLICY: There are no refunds at Love'n the Kitchen. If you must miss the fun, you may send someone in your place to the original scheduled date. If you would rather reschedule and can notify us at least 3 days in advance, we will apply 50% of the cost of the class to a class in the following month.
No credit will be given for cancellations less than 72 hours before a class.

2. PRIVACY STATEMENT: Use of information provided is collected for Love'n The Kitchen's use only. We do not sell, lease, or rent our customer lists to third parties.

3. OPERATION AND LICENSING NOTICE: Love'n The Kitchen fully complies with Arizona Statute 36-136 H4 providing an "exemption relating to food and drink that is (b) prepared at a cooking school that is conducted in an owner occupied home." Continuing in the statement in subsection H, paragraph 4, subdivision (b) of this section that "the food is prepared in a kitchen that is not regulated an inspected by the department or by a local health authority."
